Joining MLTS in June of 2026, Ashley Senesac has been working in higher education for more than 10 years. She has experience working in registration, enrollment, new student orientations, graduation, academic libraries, and teaching English as a second language. And while not an expert, she successfully kept the plants alive at her previous institution. Originally from Kankakee, Ashley earned a Master of Education in Administration of Higher Education from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.

In previous roles, Ashley was heavily involved on campus. She has participated in campus governance, as well as a variety of committees dedicated to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for faculty, staff, and students.

New to Chicago, Ashley looks forward to getting to know her neighborhood, the MLTS community, and finding the best coffee in Chicago. When she isn’t working, Ashley can be found doting on her cat, Popcorn, or listening to an audiobook.
