Academics at Meadville Lombard

Meadville Lombard Theological School nurtures a unique learning community where leaders from diverse faith traditions, cultural contexts, and backgrounds come together to engage with justice issues in today’s world. Our Contextual Learning model allows students to receive a quality theological education in MDiv while remaining connected to their own communities, without the need to relocate.

The academic approach at Meadville Lombard is unique for because of our commitment to social justice, inclusive theology, and flexible learning options. Students are encouraged to explore the intersections of faith, culture, and social action, preparing them to become leaders who are both intellectually rigorous and dedicated to building compassionate, equitable communities.
