Commencement Weekend Events

Saturday, May 18, 2024

5:00 p.m.: Commencement Vespers Service at Meadville Lombard (180 N. Wabash Ave., Suite 700). Our graduates will lead a Vespers service. Family and friends are invited to attend.

• Please arrive by 4:50 p.m. The service will start promptly at 5:00 p.m.
• Commencement Vespers will be live-streamed on Zoom.

6:00 p.m.: Move to the Manor at Virgin Hotel for Conviviality

7:00 p.m.: Commencement Dinner with Honorary Degree Recipient at the Manor at Virgin Hotel. This is a ticketed, seated dinner. Graduates will be given an option of bringing up to two guests.

1:45 p.m.: Graduates arrive at First Unitarian Church to get ready

2:45 p.m.: Graduates line up for processional

3:00 p.m.: Commencement at First Unitarian Church in Hyde Park (5650 S. Woodlawn Ave.). All are welcome and invited to attend as we graduate our 179th class.

• It will be live-streamed on Zoom.
• Offering will be received during the ceremony, which will be added to the Meadville Lombard Institutional Aid Funds.
• A reception will immediately follow in Hull Chapel at First Unitarian Church.
