Attend a Prospective Student Conference

We host Prospective Student Conferences several times a year during the times when our students are gathered at our Chicago campus for intensive classwork. These conferences are an excellent way to experience what it is like to be a student at Meadville Lombard.

At a Prospective Student Conference you can:

• Connect with current students and meet other prospective students
• Mingle with our staff and faculty, who include Unitarian Universalist powerhouses in ministry, teaching, academics, and activism
• Learn more about the groundbreaking curriculum for our Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Leadership Studies, and Master of Arts (Religion) programs
• Explore downtown Chicago and our campus

For prospective students who cannot travel to Chicago on the dates of the conference, we offer informational webinars.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are canceling the in-person conferences and offering more webinars for our prospective students to learn about our programs. Please check our Prospective Student Events page for updates.

Off-Campus Prospective Student Gatherings 

• Meet us at the UUA General Assembly! Come to lunch and meet our faculty, staff, alums, and students to find out more about our programs. The GA event page will be updated each spring.
• We also host smaller prospective student gatherings around the country. Check our Facebook Page for location and dates. 

Take a Class as a Student at Large

Prospective students, students enrolled in programs at other seminaries, alums, and teaching pastors and mentors are warmly invited to take a class at Meadville Lombard and experience our learning model firsthand.

If you are a prospective student and cannot attend a Prospective Student Conference, we encourage you to take a class as a student at large.
