“I am honored to be part of Meadville Lombard’s commitment to developing ministers and ministries that ‘take into the world our Unitarian Universalist vision of justice, equity, and compassion.”
Rev. Jules Taylor is a Unitarian Universalist community minister specializing in pastoral & spiritual care, critical incident response, and community ministry. Rev. Taylor is a chaplain (Major) with the New York Air National Guard and is a responder with the UU Trauma Response Ministry. An ordained minister since 2001, Rev. A sought-after speaker and teacher, Julie has contributed chapters to several books on the subject of spiritual care and crisis and is on the national faculty of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Agitating, preaching, and working towards dismantling systems of White supremacy are key in Rev. Julie’s theology and work.
Rev. Taylor shares these thoughts with us:
“Unitarian Universalism is in a time of discernment. The world is changing and we, as a faith and as faith leaders, have the opportunity to do the work to dismantle systems of oppression that keep us from living fully into our faith, covenants, and Principles. I am honored to be part of Meadville Lombard’s commitment to developing ministers and ministries that ‘take into the world our Unitarian Universalist vision of justice, equity, and compassion.’”
