When should I apply for financial aid and what are the deadlines?
Incoming students should complete the Institutional Financial Aid Application (IFAA) immediately after acceptance into a Meadville Lombard degree program. The IFAA priority deadline for returning students is March 15.  Both incoming and returning students should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The FAFSA priority deadline for returning students is March 15.  Students must re-apply for financial aid every year.

How long will it take for my financial aid application to be processed?
New students: Immediately after your acceptance and if your financial aid file is complete, you may expect your institutional financial aid award letter within 10 business days.
Returning students: Beginning May 1, if your financial aid application is complete.  You may expect your institutional financial aid award letter after June 1.

How do I apply for a work-study position at Meadville Lombard?
In addition to a complete financial aid application, you will need to submit work study application.  Work-study job notifications and assignments are sent after August 1.

I missed the financial aid priority deadline, can I still apply for financial aid?
Yes.  However, due to limited financial aid funds, your institutional financial aid award may be impacted.  It is always student responsibility to get the financial aid forms for the new academic year and to observe the priority deadlines.

I believe I have an unusual circumstance that the financial aid forms do not cover, where and how can I explain this?
Include a note of explanation along with supporting documentation with your IFAA that details your situation.  Or, contact the Director of Admissions directly.  Your circumstance will be reviewed and given every possible consideration.
