Residency Options
The M.A. degree program may be taken in either the traditional residential format, or in the modified residential format, combining intensive courses and on-line courses. Students participate in at least three January intensive course programs, including attendance at a minimum of three modified residency January convocations. Each intensive course meets for five consecutive days during the three-week January sessions, with reading and writing assignments both before and after each class.
