Kurt Steele
 Kurt Steele is a 30-year Unitarian Universalist, most recently at All Souls in New York City where he is on the Board of Trustees. He received a B.A. from Colgate University, M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a J.D. from Columbia University. He has worked in various legal and business positions for a number of firms: the New York City law firm of Sidley Austen Brown & Wood; McGraw-Hill; and Standard & Poor's. Most recently before retiring he was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Rand McNally in Chicago.
Before joining All Souls in New York City, Kurt served in a number of leadership positions at the Montclair Unitarian Church and the Unitarian Church of Evanston. As a community volunteer, he has particularly focused on the issues of conflict resolution, mental health, vulnerable populations and education. | |
