Leon Spencer Leon E. Spencer, Ed. D., NCC, MAC, LPC, is currently associate professor and Coordinator of the Community Counseling Graduate Program in the Leadership Technology and Human Development Department at Georgia Southern University. He has published numerous articles on oppression, cross-cultural issues and curriculum development, and alcoholism and the family. Dr. Spencer is President of the Research and Assessment Corporation for Counseling of the National Board for Certified Counselors. Dr. Spencer is a long-time Unitarian Universalist. He was a member of the UUA Board of Trustees for eight years representing the Thomas Jefferson District. He was Co-Chair of the UUA Racial and Cultural Diversity Task Force and a founder of the European Unitarian Universalist. Currently he is President of the Thomas Jefferson District and a member of the Statesboro Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. |
