Arnold Bradburd Arnold Bradburd has worked in business and in University teaching for decades. He has been a director of two publicly traded companies, and several privately owned companies. He was chairman of a NYSE company, president of his privately held company, a principal in a national CPA firm, and a systems manager for two publicly owned companies.
He serves on the Board of UU House in Philadelphia and is on the Board and Treasurer of an economic development agency and director of other organizations. He has been active in an array of community organizations and in the two UU churches he has belonged to in the last 50 years.
He has been treasurer of the Delaware Valley Area Council, on the Board of the Joseph Priestley District, and was elected District Trustee to the UUA in 1984. From 1989-97 he was Financial Advisor to the UUA, serving on the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Investment Committee and others. In 1996 he received the President's Award for Volunteer Service to the UUA. He was elected a trustee of the UU Service Committee, serving from 1997 to 2003 on the Executive Committee and as Treasurer. He served for 10 years on the UU Congregational Properties Loan Commission. In 2000 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Meadville Lombard. He joined the Meadville Lombard Board in 2001. For over 25 years he has been financial advisor to the Pennsylvania Universalist Convention.
He and his wife Julia have four adult children. The Bradburds reside in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania. |
