6. The Wiggin Memorial Library
One
of the world's largest collection of Unitarian Universalist books,
pamphlets, and archives is at the Meadville Lombard library, located on
the second floor of the main building. In addition to the reading and
reference room, the library has seven floors of stacks. Course
materials are usually on reserve here, and the library has computers
and a copy machine for student use. The library subscribes to a variety
of UU journals and newsletters and many other religious, theological,
and cultural periodicals. The library also has an extensive rare book
collection. The library is open for student use 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week - a true rarity for libraries. |
